Olivia's funeral was on Monday 18th July 2011 at 2pm. The hurst pulled up outside & we saw your tiny white coffin, it broke our hearts. Mummy & Daddy got in the back and we had your coffin on Daddy's lap, we were talking to you the whole way and saying our proper goodbyes to you. We arrived at the cemetery and Daddy was so so brave, he carried your coffin all the way to your graveside. Mummy read out a poem and Beverley (the undertakeer) read our some beautiful words and poems. We know Beverley in our family and Mummy's uncle is also an undertaker, therefore we asked him to do the serice, this made it feel alot more personal as it was all family/close family at the funeral. Beverley bought along some rose petals all different colours with all different meanings, which she picked fresh from her back garden. Mummy had bought pink roses and give everyone a rose each to lay on top of your coffin. Gemma from the florist in town made you some lovely flowers, in the shape of your Minnie Mouse lullaby toy. Mummy & Daddy released a balloon for you at your graveside and watched it disappear into the sky. Mummy & Daddy asked Mark & Hayley to be your godparents, they came to your funeral also. Hayley bought everyone a balloon each to release when we got back to the house, we all took a few moments to say some special words and released a balloon for you, you would of seen alot of balloons coming up to heaven for you that day. <3
